Who Are We?

Circuit Energy is a specialist Australian energy market advisory firm, led by Directors Tim Crowley and Scott Riethmuller, whose combined trading, physical market and transaction experience spans more than 50 years across the National Electricity Market (NEM).

Participants in energy markets face increasing complexity, volatility and inefficiency across both physical and financial participation. Circuit Energy exists to close that gap — integrating trading knowledge, physical market understanding and hands-on execution capability in a single firm. We operate deliberately between supply and demand, across both the physical and financial layers of the market, influencing high-value decisions at every stage.

We work with generators and developers progressing assets toward Final Investment Decision, large energy users (including data centres) managing procurement and price risk, developers positioning new projects for market entry and financing, and financial and strategic investors sourcing and assessing acquisition targets.
