Tim Crowley is a highly respected energy markets executive with more than 30 years' experience in the Australian National Electricity Market, spanning wholesale trading, portfolio optimisation, retail operations, derivative structuring and strategic investor advisory.
For clients, Tim brings capability that runs the full length of an asset's commercial life. He supports new and growing participants through NEM registration, compliance frameworks and market entry — from prudential and settlement readiness through to trading and dispatch operations. For operating assets, he leads independent performance and dispatch analysis, examining bidding behaviour, revenue capture and governance settings to surface missed value and compliance exposure before they show up elsewhere. For boards and investors, he provides transaction support and market due diligence grounded in first-hand operational experience rather than desktop modelling.
That experience was built inside the market. Tim has played a significant role in the development, optimisation and commercial management of major Australian generation assets including Tarong North Power Station, the Braemar gas generation units, and the Starfish Hill and Mt Millar wind farms, and has originated and negotiated complex derivative contracts, PPAs, fuel supply arrangements and OTC trading frameworks. He has managed exposures of up to ~4,000 MW across coal, gas, hydro and wind portfolios.
His senior portfolio and trading roles with InterGen Australia, Tarong Energy and Energex — and extensive work with international investors, joint venture partners and infrastructure stakeholders — mean clients get judgement shaped by decades of real market conditions, not theory.
Scott Riethmuller is an accomplished energy markets professional with more than 20 years' experience in deal origination, structured contracting, commodities trading and renewable markets across the NEM — twice recognised nationally as Reuters Energy Bank NEM Trader of the Year (2013 and 2015).
For clients, Scott's capability centres on getting transactions designed, negotiated and executed. He structures bespoke derivatives, PPAs and hedging arrangements that align risk-return outcomes with each client's actual portfolio position, and manages the commercial mechanics that make deals land — counterparty identification and negotiation, ISDA documentation, credit and prudential considerations, and execution facilitation.
His environmental markets capability covers LGCs, STCs and carbon, from spot transactions through to long-term certificate strategy and compliance exposure management, alongside offtake origination across biofuels, biomass and storage.
That capability was earned at the trading desk. Scott has held senior leadership and trading positions across proprietary trading, consulting and integrated portfolio management, including Stanwell Corporation and Vivienne Court Trading, where he led large-scale trading operations and developed new commercial pathways for renewable and sustainable energy projects. Clients engaging Scott get an originator who has sat on the other side of the table — and knows what a well-structured transaction looks like from both ends.
